In 2003 our Founder Kevin Canning flew to Asia in search of pearls…
Since that faithful trip, He’s logged nearly 1,000,000 miles hunting pearls around the world. Little did he know at the time, he was starting one of the world's premier pearl jewelry companies.

Nearly 20 years ago I set out to change the way pearl jewelry was bought and sold. Back then it seemed crazy to buy fine jewelry online, now people think it’s crazy to pay retail prices in a brick and mortar jewelry store.
But it hasn’t been easy… Pearls can be tricky to buy, even for the professionals. Which is why I spend so much time educating not only my customers, but jewelry professionals worldwide. I believe transparency in sourcing, pricing and quality is the only way we can truly earn your trust. So far, it’s working. To date I am honored to have helped over 40,000 customers find the perfect set of pearls.
