We started the day at the Hong Kong Jewellery Show at one of our favorite vendors, hoping he had baroque Akoyas and silver/blue South Sea pearls for us.
At this point, he knows I love anything blue, so he had set aside a handful of pretty little 10mm baroque South Sea pearls and a number of Akoya strands, ranging from deep blue to pistachio. It sure makes life easy to have your pearls pre-selected for you -- he may know me too well!

18" Baroque Blue Akoya Pearl Necklace: 8.5 - 9.0mm AA+
These natural color Akoya pearls were hand selected for their high luster and rare body colors. While the baroque shape gives these pearls a delightful "from the ocean" appearance. The baroque shape also has the added bonus of emphasizing the colorful overtones these pearls display. A rare find, pearls like this are extremely popular with collectors.
This particular strand is 18 inches in length, 8.5 - 9.0mm in size and AA+ in quality. All our strands are hand-knotted between each pearl for security. The pearls are strung with 100% silk thread and finished with a 14K white or yellow gold clasp.
